Our Services

In addition to providing transport for hospital and other medical appointments, we can also help with transport for those visiting relatives in residential homes, lunch clubs and other social needs. Any request will be considered.

Goodneighbours use their own cars to drive people to and from hospital, doctors, other health appointments or visits. The service is for people who have no other way of getting to these appointments, for an example no family or friends who could take them.

Our volunteers provide their time free, but, as we are a self-funding group, we ask our clients for a voluntary donation for our services.

See our Scale of Donation Requests (pdf fileAdobe Logo Reader) for more information.

How you can help us...

Please give as much notice as possible for transport requests.

Advise our team of any specific difficulty, such as mobility, hearing loss, etc.

We work to the good practice standards of the Hampshire Good Neighbours Support Service, with all policies and procedures in place. This means that all our volunteers have good references and Criminal Record Bureau checks.

Our services are offered to residents of central Eastleigh only.Currently we have over 150 clients on our books, most of whom are elderly.
